Justin Brass, Co-Founder
Justin brings over 23 years of experience to JBSL, having previously served as Co-Head of Stifel’s Litigation Finance Group. Prior to that, he created and ran complex opportunities business at Burford Capital, the largest publicly traded litigation funder. Justin Clerked for Judge Robert D. Drain in the US Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York and is a graduate from St. John’s School of Law.

Sarah Lieber, Co-Founder
Sarah brings over 20 years of experience to JBSL having previously served as Co-Head of Stifel’s Litigation Finance Group. Prior to that, she created and ran global origination at Burford Capital, the largest publicly traded litigation funder and was Former Deputy General Counsel and Head of Litigation at monoline bond insurer CIFG Assurance. Sarah is a graduate from the Fordham School of Law.
